Arenga palm project

The time has shown 08:43 am, today I woke up early at 05:00 am because last night I slept at 20:00 pm, I was very tired after traveling from Labuan to Legon Pakis, Ujungjaya village.
It started to drizzle, black clouds in the western area of Ujungkulon National Park peninsula... friends from the Javan rhino monitoring team and the Arenga palm team have started to gather near the Tamanjaya pier, logistics on the way from the jarhisca office or javan rhino study conservation area which is also a the office of the head of the regional section 2 handeuleum.
We will go into the forest to carry out tasks for 12 days.
Arenga palm control is part of ecosystem restoration activities to provide space for the growth of Javan rhinoceros food plants, as an invasive arenga palm plant that dominates nearly 60% of the peninsula area of Ujungkulon National Park which causes no other plants to grow under arenga palm stands.
Hopefully we can finish the job well and be able to reunite with our families.

Thank you to all those who have been involved in this activity.
Especially to BTNUK and SAFE worldwide for the financial support.
