SAVING THE JAVAN LEOPARD ON UJUNGKULON NATIONAL PARK

Continuing the previous project in 2022, in March 2023 Bioparc Zoo De Doue La Fontaine as their commitment on saving wildlife on Ujungkulon National Park ,collaborate again with OFORA Trust Foundation to carry out a monitoring project for the Javan Leopard (PantheraPardusmelas) in the mount Honje area of Ujungkulon National Park, the number of monitoring team personnel is 6 people consisting of 1 Ujungkulonntional park ranger and 5 people from local community and OFORA .
The team worked for 10 days in the resort area of Rancapinang and Cibadak. The mthode used was exactly the same as last year , namely by installing 8 units of camera video traps, the result of which will be taken in the net two months.
